China's industrial resilience can cope with various risks
A complete industrial manufacturing system is the foundation of the Chinese economy. Since the beginning of the year, China's real economy has been solid and resilience, especially the industrial economy has handed over a good “transcript”. Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that in the first quarter, industrial growth in 22 provinces was faster than the full-year target.
As the world's largest manufacturing country, China has an independent and complete industrial system, and is the only country in the world that has all the industrial categories of the UN industry classification, which greatly increases the resilience and maneuvering space in response to external shocks.
"China's industrial economy is large in scale and resilient, and has sufficient capacity to cope with various risks." At the press conference of the State Council's new office held at the beginning of this year, Xin Guobin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, made a sound.
Industrial economy runs smoothly
At present, the overall operation of the industrial economy is stable, the growth rate of industrial added value above designated size is maintained at a reasonable interval, the industrial structure is continuously optimized, new kinetic energy is growing rapidly, the effect of supply-side structural reforms continues to emerge, and the operating environment of the real economy continues to improve. With strong resilience and potential, the industrial economy has achieved steady progress.
On June 14, the National Bureau of Statistics announced major economic data for May. The data shows that from January to May this year, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 6% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.2 percentage points from January to April, and accelerated by 0.3 percentage points from the fourth quarter of last year. The overall situation is within a reasonable range.
