Shanghai Bureau Exploration No. 3 once again broke the operating record
China Petrochemical News Network recently, the Shanghai Bureau Exploration No. 3 platform completed a 20-inch casing run in a high-temperature and high-pressure well in the South China Sea. The lowering depth is 1399.22 meters, an increase of 54 meters compared to the previous one, setting a new record for the platform’s 20-inch casing depth.
Different from the previous operations, the casing run this time has three buckle types and four pound classes. The structure is very complex, which puts forward higher requirements for casing laying and personnel cooperation. The maximum hanging weight of the casing reaches 330 tons, which brings new challenges to the refined operation of equipment and personnel. In order to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the operation, the platform operators cooperated tacitly, fully combed the operation procedures before casing running, checked and maintained key drilling equipment in place, and through refined operations, everyone worked together to overcome difficulties and successfully completed the casing running operation.
For a long time, Exploration No. 3 has focused on high-temperature and high-pressure well operations, innovatively adopted the "four will and four no" working method, the technical level has been continuously improved, and has set records for many times. This efficient operation has contributed to the completion of the annual production target and exploration and development work. (Gao Liuqun)
